Most jet card programs have peak periods of up to 100 days per year, during which the usual terms of service and pricing don’t apply.

With other cards, the lead time for peak period bookings can stretch to 14 days in advance. Surcharges can range up to 40% and your flight may be subcontracted to another operator.
