Criterium de la Premiere Neige is one of the season's most important races, with the world's greatest slalom racers competing on the OK slope in Val d'Isere. Two days of races that attract large audiences and a festive atmosphere. Throughout the day, men's downhill and giant slalom competitions are held, as well as a top brand accessory presentation, ski testing, and Savoyard specialties. The nights transform into a street party, complete with rock concerts, DJs, and the closure of the Val d'Isere center to traffic.
The Scara race, which began 40 years ago, is an international Alpine ski race for children that takes place at the end of the winter season. Historically, it was a race for youngsters from Val d'Isere and other local ski clubs, but rising numbers of entries prompted race organizers to reconsider the race structure and register the race on the international calendar. La Scara is currently recognized in the ski world as a true "Children's World Championships," and it is utilized as a qualifying for national selection.
